LeRoy, A Fine Place To Farm – Part I

ROB BOWE Folks from the east started to settle in LeRoy township in 1845. At the time, nearly 20% of the land in the township was marsh wetlands. A dam was built at Hubbard's Rapids (Horicon) in 1846 to power a saw mill.
