Leroy L. LaCharite

Leroy L. LaCharite, 92, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Mayville, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
Leroy Leonard was born on June 10, 1930, the son of Arsene and Mildred (Field) LaCharite in Milwaukee. On July 15, 1956, he was united in marriage with June J. Baerwald at Zum Kripplein Christi Church in Town of Herman.
Leroy had been a farmer for 25 years. He had also been employed at West Bend Company, Gehls and Seneca Foods; and had managed the Gleisner Apartments in Mayville. Leroy was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Huilsburg. He was also a former member of Zum Kripplein Christi Church.
Leroy is survived by his wife of 65 years, June J. LaCharite; his six children, Larry L. (Nancy) LaCharite, Lorie (Dave) Langsdorf, Lloyd (Virginia) LaCharite, Linda L. Cizek, Lyle L. (Sue) LaCharite and Lonnie (Kim) LaCharite; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Elaine LaCharite of Hartford. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arsene and Mildred LaCharite.
A private family service for Leroy will be held at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Interment will be at Zum Kripplein Christi Cemetery in the Town of Herman.
