The Strange Case of Tom Swanton Part I ROB BOWE CONTRIBUTOR There is a very old tombstone in St. Alban’s Episcopal Cemetery at Sussex with an inscription of, “In Memory of Thos.Swanton, Who Drowned, May 31, 1851. Dunnville, Ontario.” Approximately a year ago this author shared the story of this ancestor’s tombstone and his family’s tragedy with a friend.
