Carol J. Jacak
Carol J. “Jean” Jacak, 91, of Kewaskum, passed away on January 7, 2024, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital in the Town of Polk.
Carol Jean, the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Regina Theusch, was born on October 15, 1932, in Kewaskum. She married her soulmate, Roger Jacak, on April 28, 1951, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Wayne. They shared a blissful life of farming, gardening, and bargain hunting until Roger passed away on August 20, 2006. Carol Jean had a zest for life and enjoyed, listening to polka music, playing cards, yelling “BINGO!”, and visiting casinos, especially Oneida, North Star, and Ho Chunk. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, whom she cherished and adored.
Those Carol Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, David Jacak of Campbellsport, Mary Jacak-Abraham of Campbellsport, and Roger “Butch” Jacak Jr. of Campbellsport; six grandchildren, Davey, Jarod, Heather, Danyl, Michael, and Kathy; 10 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Andrew, Alexis, Addison, Aubrey, Keaton, Zach, Mikayla, Madison, and Taylor; four sisters, Lorraine Beine, Rosemary (Robert) Guth, Elaine (Dennis) Wieberdink, and Darlene Walls; a brother, Donald (Dianne) Theusch; two sisters-in-law, Caroline Theusch and Carol Theusch; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Carol Jean was preceded in death by five brothers, Walter (Sonny) Theusch, Robert Theusch, Francis Theusch, James Theusch, and Richard Theusch; a sister, Marilyn Theusch; and four brothers-in-law, Ervin Beine, Sylvester (Betty) Jacak, Lambert (Irene) Jacak, and Rollie (Marian) Jacak.
VISITATION: Carol Jean’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, January 12, 2024, at St. Kilian Catholic Church, N189 County Road W, Campbellsport, (Town of Ashford) from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Carol Jean on Friday, January 12, 2024, at St Kilian Catholic Church, at Noon with Father Neil Zinthefer officiating. Burial will take place following Mass at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Campbellsport.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the 3rd floor doctors and nurses at Froedtert West Bend Hospital and the family would like to express their gratitude to Kettle Moraine Gardens and all the wonderful nurses and residents who became her dear friends.
