Valeria “Val” Mae Goss
Valeria “Val” Mae Goss passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at The Charleston House in Beaver Dam.
Val was born the daughter of Eric and Martha (Collien) Wagner on March 4, 1937, in Lomira.
She graduated from Lomira High School.
Val was united in marriage to William Goss on December 7, 1957, in Lomira. After they were married, the couple moved to Farmersville and later to Fox Lake in 2000.
Val was involved with many small businesses in the Mayville area.
She was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Knowles. Val was very creative and enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, and quilting. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Above all, Val cherished and loved her family and looked forward to spending time with them whenever she could.
Val is survived by her children, Dale (Deb) Goss, Dan (Pauline) Goss, and David (Judy) Goss; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Val was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; son, Duane Goss; sister, Carol Wagner; and step-sister, Laverne Villwock.
A visitation for Val will take place on Monday, April 1, at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held with Rev. Matthew Kuske officiating. Entombment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Charlston House Assisted Living and Memory Care as well as the hospice staff for all of their care they provided to Val.
