Dennis “Grandpa Daisy” Coulter, 65, of Lomira, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
He was born on January 22, 1959, to the late Ronald and Janet (nee Giese) Coulter in Fond du Lac. Dennis grew up in Theresa.
He worked in construction before working as a forklift operator at Metalcraft in Mayville for 29 years until retirement.
On February 14, 2014, he was united in marriage to Laurie Lentz.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drinking. Dennis also enjoyed camping, going to the casino, bingo, the racetrack, and playing the lottery.     He liked to go to flea markets and Warren’s Cran fest. Dennis’s secret obsession was binge watching videos of “Crazy Karens”. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Laurie Lentz; five children, Dustin Cecil, Hannah Coulter, Hope Coulter, Jay (Tara) Shulfer, and Natasha (Josh) Amundson; two grandchildren, Justin Dayton and Jaxton Amundson; two sisters, Sandy (Mark) Herman and Sharee (Jim) Fritz; two brothers, Ed (Diane) Coulter and Gary (Chris) Coulter; sister-in-law, Lisa Coulter; mother-in-law, JoAnn Lentz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two daughters, Courtney and Haleigh Coulter; and his brother, Steve Coulter.
VISITATION: Dennis’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, July 15, from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Lomira.
SERVICE: A memorial service will follow the visitation at the Funeral Home at 6 p.m.
