Nelda R. Heinecke

Nelda R. Heinecke, nee Koller, of West Bend died on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at the Samaritan Health Center at the age of 102 years.
She was born July 17, 1922 in West Bend to the late Joseph and Marie (nee Goschey) Koller.
On September 20, 1944, she was united in marriage to Lester J. Heinecke at Holy Angels Parish. Lester predeceased April 27, 2000.
After their marriage, they settled on a farm in Kohlsville. She was the typical farm wife and a loving and devoted mother. In addition to her family, her Catholic faith was at the center of her life.
After she retired from farming and the family homestead was sold, she enjoyed her monthly social with her sister and cousins. Their get togethers included playing cards and enjoying lunch.
Survivors include six children, Dianne Hetland of Rhinelander, Elaine Heinecke of Campbellsport, Merlin (Laurie) of Iron Ridge, Allen (Jayne) of Allenton, John of Campbellsport and Jeannine (Marty) Mittelstadt of Campbellsport; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn (Ron) Rutkowski of Pewaukee; one brother-in-law, Walter Kohler of West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ken and Gerald; two grandchildren; one brother, Harold Koller and one sister, Shirley (Henry) Teders.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, at Holy Angels Catholic Church from 3 until 4:45 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m. Burial will be Friday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
