On January 7, Lomira boys basketball lost to Laconia 54-45 in their conference matchup.
Lomira (7-1, 3-1) held an early 7-4 lead over visiting Laconia (8-1, 3-1) before the Spartans scored four straight points. Then Jackson Goebel hit a runner in the lane off the glass to give the Lions the lead back at 9-8.
