Anthony Tagliapietra

Anthony “Tony” Tagliapietra, 81, of Eden, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital.

Anthony was born on December 2, 1940, in Eden, a son of the late Nicola and Lena Tagliapietra. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962 and on August 28, 1965, he married Karlene Rademann at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden.

Anthony worked as an Electrician for Baudry Electric and also farmed. He enjoyed gardening, staying active, and was a wonderful grandpa. Anthony was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church.

He will be missed by his children, Lance Tagliapietra of Winona, MN and Julie (Greg) Wilke of Campbellsport; eight grandchildren, Gregor, Trevor, Tyler, Hope and Haley Wilke, Jennifer, Leo and Josephine Tagliapietra; sisters, Dorothy Konen and Liz Raube; and brother, Nick (Carol) Tagliapietra. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and eight siblings.

Visitation: Visitation will be on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac; and again on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Co. Rd. B, Eden, WI 53019.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Jones officiating and burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden.

Anthony’s family would like to thank his niece, Marilyn, and her husband, Barton Hammond, for all they did with and for Anthony.
