Mary Ann Hitt

Mary Ann Hitt, 70, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice Home near Sheboygan Falls. She was a graduate of James Madison High School in Milwaukee. Mary was born in Milwaukee on March 26, 1952, the daughter of Norman and Jean (nee Everson) Majors. In October of 1996, Mary married Wesley Lee Hitt in Las Vegas. She worked at a number of different factory jobs and later part-time at the Campbellsport Piggly Wiggly. Mary loved nature, flowers and birds, and enjoyed making people smile and laugh. She especially enjoyed her Saturday movie nights with friends, popcorn, beer and conversation.

Mary is survived by her son, Steven Hesselgrave; grandsons, Jacob and Jack; best friend of over 40 years, Carol Thompson; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Jean; husband, Wesley on November 28, 2020; and brothers, Lawrence, John and Edward Majors.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Campbellsport Alliance Church, N1976 County Road V, Campbellsport, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Church. Rev. Doug Birr will officiate and inurnment will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
