Steven Kenneth Sell, a loving father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2023, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.    Steven was born on February 20, 1954, in Beaver Dam, the son of Clarence P. and Betty J. (Meyer) Sell.
Steven is survived by his daughters, Amber Sell and Cheri Sell and son-in-law Joseph Howey; siblings, Patricia Kummerow, Alan and Debbie Sell, Nancy and Dennis Magyar, Lori Blank and Glen Knepprath, and many nieces and nephews; special great-niece, Rhyannon Bailey; and best friends, Dale and Sue Bonack. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Ann York, Kay Sell Abbott and nephew, Jason Odebrecht.
Throughout his life, Steven was a dedicated and hardworking individual. He spent 32 years as a Metal Finisher at Metalcraft of Mayville, where he was known for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence. His strong work ethic and dedication to his craft were admired by his colleagues and friends.
Steven had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time fishing, taking walks and recently started to enjoy kayaking. He often took trips to the casino with his best friend. In his downtime, Steven could be found just going out for a nice joy ride, watching the Brewers or Chicago Bears games or spending time with his daughters. He was a devoted father who took great pride in their accomplishments and supported them in all their endeavors. His love for his daughters was unwavering, and he cherished the time he spent with them.
Steven was one of a kind, he was quite the character. He was the most outspoken, kind-hearted, genuine, humble, fun-loving, down-to-earth person his family and friends were blessed to have the pleasure to know and love; along with his naturally infectious personality and laugh, no one could help but be drawn to him. He will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. His memory will live on, in the stories that will be told and in the hearts of his family.
To anyone who wishes to pay their respects, a celebration of life will be held in his honor at the Mayville Pavilion on April 22, 2023 from 1-5p.m.
